Alternating movements (go from KB swing, next round push up, next round sit up, then back to kb swing)

That’s me up top and my best bud Antony Graf, US National Team Member and Owner of Miami’s CrossFit Threshold on the pic below. We’re at the US Olympic Training Center this weekend, having a good time and playing on their gymnastic equipment when no one is looking.

Not only is Antony my long time teammate on the US National Team and roommate at the US Olympic Training Center, but he’s also the one who introduced me to CrossFit and convinced me to open up my own box.

Everyone’s got that ‘person’ who they first heard about CrossFit from. For many of us, although we didn’t know it at the time, it changed our life.

    Greg – Brown Bear -Brown, first week of January, 2009.

    We showed up peering through the windows of the then NEW Crossfit North Hollywood to see Tim and Carly painting and getting the place ready to open.

    Ha! And they looked back at us watching them…I wonder what they were thinking!

    my sister showed me the nasty girls vid on youtube ,,,,and i thought wow those chicks could kick my asssss ……im going on month 2 and i think im growing glutes!!!!!lol i had never squated in my life ….. im greatfull for like minded people who want to push it….it keepn me sane ….and humble!!

    Brad Gutting, a guy I met back in the Midwest. I introduced him to Filipino Boxing, he returned the favor with Crossfit. I thought he was nuts for doing it. And here I am.

    I learned about it in Feb. or March of 09′ from Tanaoi Reed (Duane “The Rock” Johnsons stunt double). A few days after he told me about it, I saw an ad for Crossfit North Hollywood which had recently opened, went down and signed up. I’ve been much happier since then…….well, most days anyways.
