Happy 60th birthday to my Momma! 

She’s not only a CrossFitter…








 

 

 

 

And also world class at Taekwondo (here she is getting 3rd place at the World Championships a few years ago) and world traveler,




 







 

She’s also helped teach me that we’ve always got to be setting goals, and the goals we strive for are really about the journey we go on to achieve them.  

Her next goal is to be the World Champion for her age group at the 2012 World Taekwondo Poomsae (technical) Championships, most likely taking place in Korea. That’s a pretty damn big goal! But…what’s the fun in having a goal if it’s not something big? Regardless of the outcome, the effort we constantly put in changes us, makes us more accountable, and helps us push just a little harder.

So here’s to the journey, Mom, it’s always been a great one.
