Monday’s WOD’s: 

All Levels:  

A 3x Squat Clean, 1x Jerk. Work up to a heavy set of 3+1.

B. Front Squat: Build up to a heavy 2 Rep

C. 3 rounds for time of:

10 front squats (155/105)

10 burpees

10 chest to bar pull-ups

Level 1 CrossFit: 

Skill: Front Squat: Sets of 5 reps.

WOD: 5 rounds, 40 seconds of work, 20 second of rest. Score is total reps.

We just keep growing! And to celebrate, we’re adding more Level 1 CrossFit classes. These will be on Tuesday and Thursday at 7am, rounding out our 7am M/W/F Level 1 CrossFit schedule, giving us CrossFit Beginner classes morning and night, 5 days week!

Level 1 Classes are the perfect place to start if you’re new to CrossFit and functional movements. Each of these classes focuses on 1 of the 9 fundamental CrossFit movements, kipping pull ups, rowing, running technique, and the rest of the basic concepts to set you up on the right track for long term training and long term results. We’re not the home of the ‘quick fix’, we want to help you earn life-long results!

Big Congrats to Taryn for getting a Personal Record on her 100# Clean & Jerk! Upon moving to LA, she’d never done CrossFit, and now she’s been CrossFitting with us for 2 months and is really doing great. Her formula for success? Show up consistently, be positive, listen to her coaches, then get some awesome results. Sounds pretty good to me!

If you haven’t heard, we’ve already got our next set of awesome Community Events up and going. There’s something for everyone. So read up and stay in the game!

1. Fran Friday & Party at Barney’s Beanery. This Friday. Everyone’s favorite nemesis, “Fran” will be going on in honor of Coach Tim’s birthday. We’ll be doing it at every class on Friday, from 6am onward. Then come throw back a few with us at Barney’s in downtown Burbank Friday night at around 8pm until we get the job done!

2. Friday, Oct 14. Halloween Horror Night @ Universal Studios! 8pm -2am.

3. Saturday, November 19: The Spartan Race in Malibu, CA.

Have you ever wanted to do a Mud Run or Tough Mudder? The Spartan Sprint is the perfect place to sharpen your skills and put your daily CrossFit training to the test!

Wednesday’s WOD’s:

All Levels CrossFit:

Ax3, rest 3-4 minutes after each set

Row 250 meters full out.

AMRAP HSPU: Sub to Ring Push Ups, regular Push ups. Score is slowest row and total HSPU.

B. 4 sets for time: Rest 2 minutes after each round. Time is total time including rest.

10x Toes to Bar

Rest 2 minutes active.
