Tuesday – November 29 – Guest Days!

The Holidays are almost here and High Voltage is already feeling the season and trying to help spread the love. We’re proud to announce our very first ‘Guest Days’ coming up on Thursday Friday and Saturday on December 8 9 & 10!

These special classes will allow each current Volt or Vixen to bring up to 2 non-members with them at a time to any class they attend in order to sample the awesomeness that you all experience each and every day. You’ll be their ‘workout buddy’ for your session. The workouts will be ones that most anyone can do scaled of course and as always will pack that CFHV punch you all love.

There will be a sign up form for you to write your friend’s & family’s name and class time on. Remember we keep a cap on our class sizes to keep the quality of instruction high so be sure to get your name on the sheet!

So spread the word to your friends & family. Along with the ‘Rep A Day Holiday Challenge’ this is another great opportunity to share our world class fitness Community with others. These classes will fill up fast so sign up soon!

-Tuesday’s Training

A. Deadlift
5-5-3-3-3. Rest no more than 2 minutes each set. Up and down touch and go. Be sure to engage hamstrings on negative.

Bx4 sets
B1. Weighted Pull UPs – 3 reps – strict – rest 20 sec
scale to strict unweighted or with band as difficult as possible)
B2: FLR – Front Leaning Rest on rings – accumulate 40 seconds total. (unsure what this new awesomeness is? Come check it out!)

C. 6 minutes for total reps – no rest during transition
1 min burpees
2 min kb swing
3 min double unders
score is total reps completed

Level 1 CrossFit
Skill: Deadlift – sets of 5 reps up and down with proper form.

WOD:
1 min Deadlifts
2 min Push Ups
3 min jump rope passes
rest 3 minutes then repeat.
