THE Social Network ~

One of the greatest things that Crossfit provides for a lot of people is a social outlet. Prior to joining my first Crossfit gym I remember being pretty miserable. So many hours of my day were spent on my job and trying to make rent that I really didnʼt interact with other people very much at all.

I was a former athlete so I didnʼt really need to be “convinced” to try Crossfit out. However many CrossFitters have had no previous experience in athletics at all. Not knowing much about the fitness culture can make what we do seem intimidating at times but emphasizing how huge the social aspect of it is can make it seem intriguing and inviting.

Our guest days are coming up this Thursday through Saturday providing everyone with a great opportunity to share our lifestyle with others. So if there is someone you know who needs a fun social outlet now is a great chance to talk to them about coming with you High Voltage this week for our ‘Guest Days’. CrossFt is a great way to stay active. Itʼs a great way to make new friends. Itʼs a great excuse to get out of the house. And sometimes thatʼs the only incentive someone might need to try it!

Tuesday’s Training

All Levels:

A. Deadlift
Find a 1RM in 20 minutes. Up and Down. No dumping from the top.

B. Strict Press –
Every minute on the minute for 10 minutes do 3 strict press with 67-75% of 1rm. Move the bar fast!

 C. For max reps of each movement.
2 Min Max Wall Ball
rest 30 seconds
1 minute Max Sit Ups
rest 30 seconds
2 minutes Max Double Unders

Level 1 CrossFit
Skill: Deadlift
Sets of 3 reps – Up and Down

WOD:
2x through for max total reps
-2 min max reps wall ball
rest 30 seconds
1 min max reps sit ups
rest 30 seconds
2 minutes max rep jump rope passes

Rest 1 minute then repeat
