Hey Volts and Vixens, Monday is here and you know what that means- Time for another great week at CrossFit High Voltage! Learn a little more about your buddy Eugene to combat that case of the Mondays, then stop by the Box!

 

Describe your first work out for us, and we want the deet!

 

I felt pretty intimidated in my first class but after the first 5 minutes of the work out only one thing was on my mind.  Survive until the end of class.  That might have just been from the warm up, but I don’t remember much.  I do remember wall balls and it must have been 10,000 wall balls because I could not walk straight for two weeks.

 

Before joining High Voltage, when did you know something had to change?

 

I took up CrossFit because I just want to see what all the buzz was about.  I was reluctant mostly because I was lazy.  One day I called up Tim and he told me to visit the gym for a class and I haven’t looked back since.

 

Can you describe your most memorable CrossFit Experience for us?

 

My first time doing Filthy Fifty with team Alan. Who ever came up with this WOD is the worst person in the world.  I didn’t even come close to finishing, but I got a lot of filthy memories from it.  I scaled down to Dirty Thirty in the middle, but don’t tell Alan.

 

Tell us about an area of your life most impacted by your decision to join CFHV

 

I never realized how eating a clean healthy diet could improve my lifestyle and overall happiness until I got involved with CrossFit.

 

When have you used CrossFit outside of the box?

 

Every time I sit down on and stand up from the toilet!

 

Who is your most idolized fellow Volt or Vixen? Spread the love!

 

Without any hesitation it would be Alan, but it is questionable if this volt/vixen exists.  Is it Alan or Allen?  Either way you are my hero

 

What is your favorite cheat meal?

 

Cheese pizza, cheese burger, curly fries, chicken parmigiana, and two scoops of ice cream.  To go.  What?  I did not say I eat healthy all the time.

 

How has getting in shape changed your professional life?

 

I find it unusually painful to sit at my desk all day while I recover from those five rounds of five rep heavy deadlifts from the night before.  Yeah buddy?

 

What is your one year CrossFit goal?

 

Win the CrossFit games by a hefty margin or join the four plate deadlift club.

 

How long have you been CrossFitting?
