Monday: Your ‘Whole Life’ is coming…

What if you had a HUGE idea? I mean, really huge? We do, well, we’re a part of about 250 CrossFit gyms that have one. Pretty cool, right?

And we are going to take this HUGE idea and make it a reality. What can this awesome idea be? Awesome enough that we need every Volt and Vixen to get ready!

It’s the World Wide ‘Whole Life Challenge’, and yeah, it’s going to be THAT Awesome!

But we’re not going to tell you ‘everything’ yet…here are some of the teaser deets to wet your whistle and help kick your Monday off right:

  • 250+ CrossFit affiliates around the world will hold an 8-week intensive health & fitness challenge created to calibrate your entire being towards a no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners, no-excuses, gettin’-everything-out-of-it lifetime of physical & mental excellence.

The challenge winner will have to succeed in 3 areas:

PERFORMANCE: IMPROVE YOUR ABILITY TO WORK AND PLAY! You will do a baseline workout on Day 1 and measure your improvement in performance on the Finals Day of the challenge.

BODY TRANSFORMATION: We want you to be lean & mean. This challenge wouldn’t be complete without knowing what impact it had on your body. You will be measured at the beginning and the end to see just how much your hard work paid off.

ACCOUNTABILITY: You will be challenged not just to show up as the winner, but to play the game every day!
Nutrition habits, workouts, mobility, fish oil – your daily choices can make or break this challenge for you!
You will also have the chance to earn bonus points every week by participating in bonus challenges and sharing your experiences with others.

All participants in the challenge will receive:

-Access to the Whole Life Challenge Worldwide Scoreboard.

-Pre-game huddle — a meet-up at High Voltage to cover the basics of how to set yourself up: preparing your home and kitchen, shopping, preparing food, and strategies.

-Access to the WorldWide community and forums to see what thousands of other people just like you are experiencing, learning, and discovering every day.

-Access to The Whole Life Challenge blog with support, tips and recipes as well as an opportunity to communicate with coaches and other participants on a daily basis.

-Online profile to record and track before and after photos along with other vital health statistics.

Team High Voltage!

  •  Big ups to our members from Team High Voltage, Deb, Katie, Chad, and Ryan, who competed at their very first CrossFit competition at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, and a huge thank you to all the Volts & Vixens who came out to cheer them on! They represented our entire Community by giving their Full Effort on every WOD and it showed! Each of them had a huge break through during the grueling 3 WOD day.
  • This is exactly what competition and ‘challenges’ are designed to do – give you a forum to show what you are made of. And these guys are made of 100% awesome. Show them some love in comments with a big High Voltage ‘Yeah buddy’! We’re also very proud of Katie S who stepped up and helped out our buddies at CF Pasadena when they had an athlete get injured last week. I witnessed incredible performances all around and I think everyone had at least 1 big PR that they’d been working on and working on – but needed that positive competition deadline and environment to make it a reality. I couldn’t be more proud of their hard work continuing to pay off.
