Describe your first workout. You know what this means…DEETS DEETS DEETS!
My first workout I was very nervous and self-conscious (and still am but in a good way :)).  I was doing inch worms outside in the parking area and hoping nobody would drive over me.

When did you know something had to change before joining CrossFit High Voltage?
A co-worker would not stop talking about CrossFit.  I spent months just running and doing sit-ups.  I couldn’t take the Boredom!
Describe your most memorable CrossFit Experience.
My most memorable experience was the day I walked in and did 11 strict pull-ups.  I never did that before and it was a great feeling. I started texting everyone!
Tell us about an area of your life most impacted by your decision to join CrossFit High Voltage.
When I speak to friends about health and their work out now I sometimes feel I have the upper hand.  For example working on the elliptical machine is NOT THE SAME as running and holding a weight over your head.  I also learned that EVERYONE no matter what level they are at has strengths and areas that need work. When I leave CrossFit pouring in sweat my day-to-day stresses seem less important.
When have you used CrossFit outside of the box?
ZwebesDuring my lunch break I do burpees in my office (kidding!) When I visit family on the holidays my mother makes me move the furniture. I also have greater endurance when running hiking and climbing.
Who is your most idolized fellow Volt or Vixen and why?
I am most impressed with those CrossFitters who walk through that door regularly face their fears and through work and sweat accomplish what they never thought possible.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
Burger and fries. What else???
How has getting in shape changed your professional life?
I am able to focus better under pressure.  Also there is respect among my colleagues for what I am doing.  It’s a great topic for discussion!
What are some of your CrossFit goals for the next year?
Keep walking through the door!  Move on to the next level.  Better pull-ups. Most important goal: learn how to count!
How long have you been CrossFitting?
A year and a half.
