Started off Saturday with some work on the Track. Tim prescribed a 30 min Run for distance, which was fine, however I didn’t expect it to be 90+ degrees on the track! The heat was sweltering and that was the toughest part of the whole trial.

TrackTook a 4 hour break, then… Team High Voltage practice!

It’s so great having a team to support you and to go through the same struggles and triumphs that you do. We had a great session on Saturday. It started off with some heavy Clean and Jerks, and moved into a team WOD, and finished up with a nice little MAP session.

The best part about Saturday was the overwhelming camaraderie that filled the gym. Everyone reaches new heights with the help of friends. Today’s blog is a simple one. Thanks Team High Voltage. You guys really made Saturday special and intimate. I love training with you guys.

275#. I cleaned 300# and almost locked out the jerk, but couldn’t quite get it. Soon!

40 Burpees
Partnered up with Hayley Amber Montroy and got 4:14.
