I had the awesome opportunity to attend the 2013 CrossFit Games with my good friend Mike that owns Valley CrossFit. He had a couple amazing athletes in the Games – Kris & Becca – and they needed all the cheering support possible. They did amazing and Kris won the Spirit of the Games Award. So cool!

And the awesomeness didn’t stop there.
Long time High Voltage friend Lindsay Valenzuela came in 2nd place! She kept fighting fighting and fighting…and moved up through the last WOD. She had that same approach before she was famous…we couldn’t be more proud!

AND…a big shout out to an old friend – Val Voboril although when we went to High School together in Fresno (#fresyes) she was Val MacKenzie. Always humble always works as hard as anyone  you would ever meet – these 4 women are great examples to all of us and an ongoing source of inspiration for me…AND…an amazing 3rd place finish!
Finally – a BIG  congrats to their Coaches – they all came up with amazing plans and helped them follow through to their goals…just the way it should be!
