How awesome was Saturday’s ‘Run Like a Track Star’ clinic?

Super Awesome!

 

So awesome in fact that Katie Brewster yes our very own Katie Brewster  THE Katie Brewster Coaching the newest and super freakin’ awesome Endurance Program this Fall.

And it’s leading up to something that is on everyone’s Bucket List!

 

Katie has competed in Cross-Country and Track & Field for:

  • Burroughs High School

  • Cal State Long Beach

 

She is the two-time Burbank ALL-CITY Cross-Country Champion with a:

  • 5:16 mile

  • 11:07 two mile

  • And an even better Endurance Coach!

 

Man that’s fast!

 

But wait a second…you’ve never done an Endurance program before? not sure what to expect?

Well if you sign up we’ll take you through 8 fully loaded weeks of:

  • Losing body fat
  • Reducing running injuries
  • Increasing their aerobic capacity
  • Master POSE technique
  • Structural workouts to reduce injuries
  • And so much more…

The 8 week Endurance Program begins on Wednesday 9/7 at 6:30pm. We’ll hold for 8 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm and Saturday at 11:00am.

And it’s going to lead up to us taking a group to the LA Rock & Roll Half Marathon or 5k!

For CFHV members the price is $249…but if you’re an Early Bird and sign up before 8/13 it’s only $219!

Skill: Rowing & Double Unders

WOD:  15min AMRAP

  • 50x Jump Rope Passes
  • Ring row x12
  • Run 200m
  • rest 1 minute active

WOD: AMRAP in 15

  • 20x Double Unders
  • Pull Ups x6 (Ring Rows x12)
  • Run 200 meters
  • Rest 1 minutes active

A1. Push Press

  • 3 reps (1 second hold overhead)
  • Rest 30 sec

A2. Weighted strict pullup

  • 4-6 reps
  • Rest 1 min

 

B. For total time:

2x Each Station (alternating stations through)

  1. 8x Burpees AFAP Run 200 meters high effort rest 90 seconds
  2. 8x Burpees AFAP Row 200 meters high effort rest 90 seconds
  3. 8x Burpees AFAT 15/10 Cal Airdyne high effort rest 90 seconds
