Wednesday: Training allows us to…

Training has always been a part of my life and it has allowed me to do and experience things I wouldn’t have been able to previously.

I’ll give you an example. I’d always wanted to do a triathlon.

Earlier this year I was able to scratch that one off of my bucket list. Prior to my training in CrossFit a triathlon would have crushed me. And honestly I’m not so sure I could’ve completed the swim or the bike. Instead I was able to finish it and walk away smiling :).

It seems that everyone in the gym is working to do amazing things. We have a ton of people working to give their diet an overhaul in the Whole Life Challenge and a group of badasses is going to train in the endurance program with the hopes of completing their first half marathon!

I have a few more examples of how this kind of training has allowed me to experience new things but instead of telling you about them I’d rather hear from you.

Post in the comments below if you have a moment where the training allowed you to do something extraordinary!
