Anyways – this photo is from Saturday…and man did High Voltage have an AMAZING Saturday.

Our 10 Week High Voltage Oly Program came to an end with the High Voltage Weightlifting Open!

We had not only our awesome lifters but many of the top weightlifters in SoCal competing! Huge Thank You to Emmy Vargas for helping our lifters make incredible improvements to Coach Josh for putting together every part of the meet (including Elite EATS & massages for athletes) and to every Volt Vixen and athlete that put themselves on the line there and did their very best.

In the end – Emmy had a really memorable line. We were talking about athlete performances and PR’s.

While there were many PR’s already a PR ‘in competition’ is a Whole Nother Level’ of PR in our opinion. You get limited attempts everyone is watching & judging and the pressure is ON!

Then Saturday Night we headed to CrossFit Eagle Rock for the Cal Affiliate League competition.

Coach Dan teamed up with Coach Dizzle (in her first competition…AND Post-Baby/King) and Coach Ryan stepped up and partnered with ITP candidate Tarah.

Not only was I blown away by these Coaches leading our Community by example but by the amount of High Voltage Community that came out to cheer everyone on to giving their Full Effort!

It was amazing. Carly and I counted nearly 50 Volts and Vixens that we either saw were helping or in the action on Saturday….and that’s why we say Getting Involved Keeps Us Involved! We’re really grateful for each of you believing in everything that High Voltage stands for and cannot wait until the next batch of competitions.

Oh…and as a nice segue…Saturday Rocktober 19 is the Return of the High Voltage In House Throw Down! 9am-12pm. Everyone in our Community is invited…beginner intermediate and advanced and it’s FREE. So there’s no reason to not stay involved in the action. And for those of you asking (and there are a lot of you asking) – I will be ‘leaking’ the WOD’s and movements over the next 4 weeks.
