As for Going Green…it’s LONG overdue…and I’m so excited (and I just can’t hide it – cue Jessica Spanow being ‘so scared’)

What exactly does Going Green in CrossFit mean Tim? I mean it’s not like we can unplug the barbells.

First off – starting the New Year we’ll be having our Brand Spanking New Online Check-In & Tracking System. 

No more wasted paper sign ins! Plus..this new system is AWESOME!

So…just how awesome is this new system Tim?

Well thank you for axing. You can check in advance on how much room there is for any training session and reserve your space in advance or at the box in person!

The new system can track your workouts on it as well and it aggregates all of our gym & personal records!

You can also keep track of how many classes you’ve attended that week and progress you’ve been making as well.

Plus there’s an App for all mobile devices where you do all of that. #booya

You can also order any recovery or nutritional product you want in advance on it in addition to getting nutritional advice on the products.

We’ll be giving out instructions in a couple weeks on how to do all of this & just like everything else we do at the gym we’ll be making sure you know how to use it properly and answer any questions you might have.

Second thing on Going Green in January…and this one makes me so stinking happy that we’re not going to be horribly (yeah I said it) wasteful anymore….

We’re getting rid of the plastic disposable cups next to the water machine!

Sure we’ll still have some on hand for an ’emergency’ – but seriously I think we’ll all be able to bring our own water bottle to fill up.

I’m guilty of this too…so it makes me even happier that we’re Going Green in January.

A. in 12 minutes establist a 1rm Power Clean
B. 8 min at 80% of 1rm for max reps power clean (sub to 4 minutes of KB Swings for anyone with technique issues or injury)
C. Prowler Fun – down back down back – go for about 2-4 sets

Skill: Hang Power Clean (with barbell): build to a heavy set of 3 reps.
Then AMRAP KB Russian Swings in 4 minutes
