Before I drop the 9th day of High Voltagemas on everyone (and it’s a really personal one to me that I hope you can help me with – it may not seem like it at first but read to the end & you’ll get it)…I do have a few announcements.

First off – #obv our awesome Holiday Party is this Saturday night at 7pm. Friends family & frienemies are welcome to come. Sign up in the lobby for what food you want to bring…and def what drinks you want to bring!

Second this Saturday is the Graduation of our innagural World’s Best Boot Camp at 1130am. So the 10am Team WOD will happen at 9am – it’ll be a combo of AC/DC’s structural lifting & cyclical conditioning combined with the Team concept…there’s no 10am…so if you gotta get your fitness on this is the time!

As for the graduation these troops have come so incredibly far in just 6 weeks and we’re even more amazed that every single person in this Platoon that wasn’t already a part of our box has enrolled in our High Voltage program! #yeahbuddy

So….I’d like to invite everyone that is free to come watch them do their Graduation PT (physical training). We’re always better with increased energy and people supporting us…so if you can we’d love you there. It’s going to be amazing to watch this group have the most fun proving themselves!

The January Facebook Check-In Contest…it’s simple it’s awesome and we want to help a bunch of people with it.

Here’s how it works: Every time you come to train at High Voltage in January you check in on the Facebook (sorry Jose Snapchat doesn’t count – sorry Dan AOL doesn’t count sorry House your Motorola Razr won’t be eligible sorry RJ Boost Mobile isn’t allowed – I obviously could go on)…

The Volt & Vixen with the MOST check-ins during January will win a Free Month of Training! Plus they’ll also win a free Spark Program to give to a friend and look like a complete BAMF!

The second most check-ins during January (both Volt & Vixen) will get their spot on 2014 Team High Voltage 100% covered by us…AND a free Spark Program to give to a friend & look like the coolest cat in town.

The third most check-ins during Januray (both Volt & Vixen) will receive ALL FOUR of our Skill Seminars for the start of 2014 totally covered by us!– that’s Muscle Up like a champ Snatch like a Bad Ass Row Life a MoFo & the Pull Up Foundations clinics…plus a free Spark Program to give to a friend & look like a hero.

So that’s pretty sweet right? Yeah…but I’ve got one more thing…

And I’m not sure exactly how it works so I’m going to need your help & brain power to make it happen.

Here’s what I want to do. 

For every check in on Facebook during January I want to donate something like ‘x amount’ of electricity (cause we’re High Voltage yo) – to help the Typhoon Victims in The Philippines.

I’m not sure how to pull this off but I’m determined to make it happen somehow. You check in we donate power that they’ll need to help stay healthy and hopefully get their lives back to as much normalcy as possible…

This is super important to me because many of my taekwondo teammates (and roomates) were from the PI… and they’re really a huge reason why I was able to get where I am today. I’m forever grateful to them in ways I can only hope to pay forward.

So for me I HAVE to give back. I hope you can help me. And like always it starts with us getting together and getting fit.
