2. Super happy with how the first day of our new classes went. I really do appreciate everyone who came up to me & said how having additional class times to train at was great – and how ‘advanced’ athletes felt more comfortable stepping back focusing on form and doing the Performance or even Fitness training (because it’s right for where they’re currently at) – and at the same time..so many of the “L1’ers” that put on their big boy pants and ventured our of 6:30pm to hit up a Fitness/Performance training session.

A quick note about the class names – except for the Tuesday/Thursday 6:30pm classes which are ‘Fitness Only’ (the foundational focus that you’d expect from our L1 class) – the new class names have more to do with the focus of how they’ll be taught rather than what you’re able to do. At any class we’ll always make sure to individually assess tailor and progress you towards your personal fitness goals.

This just gives our awesome Coaches even more handles on it.

But there’s one thing that I haven’t mentioned yet…and it’s probably the MOST IMPORTANT part of all of it.

YOU.

Yeah that’s right – revel in all the glory that you bring. Seriously.

I was blown away by the interactions made in the classes today from the firebreathers inspiring the newbies…and the newbies reminding the firebreathers of why the things we do are so special.

So yes as always (and probably even more than always) your awesomeness IS needed.

Fitness/Performance/Sport

Ax5 sets for all

Fitness:
A1. Deadlift x 5 reps 2020 rest 30 min
A2. Push Ups x10-15 reps for form rest 1 min

Performance:
A1. Build up to a 5 rep power clean (touch & go) rest 30 sec
A2. Ring Dips x5; weighted if possible rest 90 sec

Sport:
1x Clean Halting Deadlift 1x Power Clean x5 reps unbroken rest 30 sec
A2. Ring Dips x5; weighted hold 1 second in the bottom for each rep.

B. For time:

30x No Push Up Burpees
40x Sit Ups
50x Single Arm DB Push Press (either arm)
40x Sit Ups
30x Regular Burpees

Performance:
