WTF…it’s not what you think…ok maybe it is. But when I think about this I think it’s just one of the greatest nicknames in the long High Voltage tradition of awesome nicknames.
Brian Koontz used to just be Brian Koontz…he joined High Voltage back before we were High Voltage…inside 2 months of us being open.
One day we were writing names on the board to go to a party or something…and he’d obviously written Brian..you know…because it’s his name.
One of our members Aaron looked at the board saw his name looked to his left then his right….kinda got a weird smirk on his face like he was pretty confused.
“Who the fuck is Brian”?
And one of the greatest nicknames in High Voltage history was born….5 years later…still cracks me up!
The moral of the story…always…ALWAYS be on the prowl for a new nickname for a fellow Volt or Vixen. Sure…at work you might be Michael but here you’re Pnutz…or Brown Bear…or Casa or Dizzle…or Red…well Red is pretty much Red everywhere but you get the point!
