-Over the weekend Carly & I went out to Texas to see Josh Boltinghouse get married. Josh was a long-time Coach at High Voltage and we couldn’t be happier for him & his new bride Kelley! Absolutely great ceremony…and yes…there was Superman music & a Superman cake…just like there should be 🙂

From all of us in the High Voltage Community…a big congrats to both of your futures together!

Monday’s Training

F/P/S

A. Power Clean EMOM x1 rep for 12 min

Fitness: From hang. Newer athletes do x3 reps EMOM. Very New = x8-10 KB Swings EMOM

Performance/Sport: Find 1RM working up in weight

 

B. ‘Unbroken’ Alternating Tabata…for Low Score [hint: this will be tough]

20 sec per station rotate to next station at 10 sec rest period.

24 intervals [so eventually it’s a full 8 round tabata at each station]

1. Power Clean [once you drop the set is over!

Fitness: Hang or KB Swing

P: 70% of A for T&G reps
S: 80% of A for T&G reps

2. Burpees

F/P: Regular Burpees

S: Jump + Touch

once you stop in the 20 sec period the set is over

3. Double Unders

F: Jump Rope Passes
P: Double Unders – every break = 1 burpee then you can start jumping again

S: Unbroken.
