If it’s time to party, why is the picture of a speed rope?? Well, mostly because I couldn’t find a picture of the guy I want to talk about.

Even though this weekend it’s time to celebrate all of us, first we need a member spotlight and big shout out to one of our morning “Waffle WODers”, Rob Sorcher!

Rob has been training with us for quite a few years now and is a super consistent athlete that is constantly impressing me with his great attitude and stellar work ethic.  He’s always one to ask great questions on how to improve his training or inquire as to the methods of our programming.

He’s taken advantage of private training opportunities to up his game, and been diligent in practicing his skills.  The reason he gets a shout out today though is because he’s broken a gym-wide record yet again!  Ok, ok…granted he beat his OWN previous record, but this guy’s “Annie” score is untouchable!

He broke the 5:00 mark with a time of 4:45!  If you see him around the gym or at the party on Sunday, give him a big “Yeah buddy!”  Great job Rob!

That’s right!!  THIS SUNDAY, July 26, from 1-5pm is our ultra-mega Grand Re-Opening & CrossFit Games Finals Viewing! We’ll be having the event fully catered by Stone Fire Grill, and the CrossFit Games will be live on the big screen the whole day!  Men’s and Women’s Individual Finals are 2-6pm, so be there for all the excitement as they crown the Fittest Man and Woman on Earth!

It’s been a long hard road, but also a ton of fun on this journey of turning over the gym the past few months.  Now is finally the time to celebrate, and I can’t wait to do it with all of my favorite people…guess what?  THAT’S ALL OF YOU!
