Today our weekly guest blog is with coach Tyler.  Sometimes our training just doesn’t click or feel right, and it may seem like there is just too much to try and fix.

We focus on the big problems…it’s human nature.  Today Tyler has a surprising perspective on how the little things can add up to have a big impact.

One lesson I’ve really taken to heart over the course of this past year training is how much the little things add up.
I’ve had several of my friends train like I am but not be able to pursue it as sustainably due to injury or just burn out. I attribute that entirely to a focus I’ve had on maintaining the little things in my lifestyle that allow me to be successful.
The little habits that gave me an edge all had to do with taking time out of my day to take care of myself. Even just 20 minutes a day to stretch after class can have huge ramifications when played out over an entire year.
So whether it’s taking time to stretch or an extra hour on Sunday to meal prep for the coming week, introduce some little habit that will enhance your life and stay steady with it. you’ll be amazed by what can happen over time.
