What’s your name?
Describe your first work out here at CrossFit High Voltage:
I did the 2nd 2017 Open workout – the one with Deadlifts. It was brutal, but a good (and much-needed) re-introduction to CrossFit after taking the last year away from the sport.
Before joining High Voltage, when did you know something had to change?
When I realized how much I missed CrossFit.
Describe your most memorable CrossFit Experience so far.
Winning the OutWOD competition with one of my best friends, Anna. It was so, so much fun and it reminded me that I’m doing this for more than just staying in shape.
Outside of High Voltage, what kind of work do you do? Give yourself a plug!

How has getting in shape changed your professional life?
I feel more comfortable on camera
Tell us about an area of your life most impacted by your decision to join High Voltage.
CrossFit has filled the void that was left when I finished playing varsity ice hockey in college. It’s a great substitution.
When have you used CrossFit outside of the box?
Moving heavy film equipment. Going on my long hikes/climbs. Prepping for hiking Half Dome.
Who is your most idolized fellow community member?
Bryan Felix, obvi.
What is your one year or next CrossFit goal?
Get my muscle-ups back. I had them. Then, I took a year off CrossFit and lost them.
What is your favorite & least favorite movement or WOD?
I love cleans. I hate Toes To Bar.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
If you had to describe CFHV in one sentence:
