What’s your name?

Steven Fortner

Describe your first time trying CrossFit:

Nervous yet exciting. The reason being is that you hear other people who have taken CrossFit classes “never survived” lol or that others complain how hard it is. Well I did my first class and I was nervous yet excited and let me tell you ….I loved it. I loved it so much I did 2 classes back to back 5 days a week….yes really. And I still love it. I use to be a professional dancer dancing 4 to 6 hours a day 6 days a week so I was used to the “pushing” or the discipline.

Before starting CrossFit, when did you know something had to change?

I knew something had to change when my doctor told me my blood pressure was too high and I had gained too much weight. It’s scary to hear from your doctor that you’re close to having a stroke or heart attack. So right then and there I knew I had to change.

Describe your most memorable CrossFit Experience so far.

Everyday at CrossFit is a memorable one because each day brings a different challenge a challenge worth looking forward to doing.
