What’s your name?
Describe your first time trying CrossFit:
It was exhausting, in the best way possible. Everyone was super nice and accommodating.
Before starting CrossFit, when did you know something had to change?
I had been lifting at la fitness and other similar gyms for the past couple years. I knew I had to change something because i was always dreading going to the gym. Now, I can’t wait for the next day.
Describe your most memorable CrossFit Experience so far.
One of my most memorable moments was hitting my PR on deadlifts. The whole room was cheering me on. A lift has never felt so good.
Outside the box, what kind of work do you do? Give yourself a plug!
I am a full time student at California State University, Northridge. I am majoring in business management
How has getting in shape changed your professional life?
I was always bigger growing up and it wasn’t until the past 2 years i knew I needed to make a change. I began eating better and working out. I’m happy to say I lost 55lbs.
Tell us about an area of your life most impacted by your decision to join CrossFit:
It has impacted my life in every aspect. I have met some awesome people and even get to CrossFit with my significant other.
When is a time you’ve been able to use CrossFit outside of the box?
I have been able to use CrossFit in my life while hunting. I’ve noticed I have more energy and strength.
Who is your most idolized fellow community member?
Jose has been a big help for me. He corrects my form and pushing me to do better.
What is your one year or next CrossFit goal?
My next goal is to do the trial by fire next year.
What is your favorite & least favorite movement or WOD?
My favorite movement is deadlifting and my least favorite would have to be squatting.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
