That’s right! By popular demand we will be extending strongWOD an extra week to fill out the entire month of October. Instead of the regular 8 weeks, we’re going to run it a full 9 and take it all the way up to October 27!

strongWOD is every Saturday in the speciality class time slot @10:30am and implements things that are more like what you’ll encounter in real life.  Lifting odd objects, midline stabilization (that’s abs!), asymmetric exercises (one side at a time), and myriad of other cool new ways to move.

Sandbags, yoke carries, farmer’s carry, sled pulls, prowler pushing, tire flips, Atlas stone, sledgehammer, the list goes on.

strongWOD exercises are all about that midline stabilization.  Most types of human movement work best when they’re core to extremity to deliver the most efficient work capacity.

BodySpec Truck Returns…AGAIN:

That’s right! I know they were JUST here, but so many of you showed up on that day and weren’t able to get a slot, so I’m brining them back…so DON’T hesitate on it this time!

Every time I schedule one of these, it is SOLD OUT within only a few hours or days of posting the blog. That’s why this time the truck will be here ALL DAY, from 8:00am – 4:00pm.

CrossFit Sparx:

This week marks the half way point of this 8 week cycle for CrossFit Sparx on Saturdays @10am. Led by Coach Debbie Serpas, these classes are ideal for our 3-6 year old athletes.

Physical fitness programs for youth have proven repeatedly to nurture their neurological development as much as their physical development.

It improves social skills, builds confidence, fosters teamwork, as well as teaches integrity & discipline. Kids in our programs learn to have a self-perception based on their effort and what they can do, rather than superficial attributes.

Most importantly? It’s all wrapped up in games and fun! Using elements that children gravitate toward naturally in their play, we can help them build skills for a lifetime.
