All of our Holiday Season NEWS!
Haven’t you heard? Our biggest event of the year, the CFHV Annual Holiday Party is only 2 weeks away and we want YOU and all your friends & family to join us!
It all goes down Saturday, December 15 @7pm. We’ll be providing the basics, some alcohol & food, but we would LOVE for you to bring your favorite dish or drink to share. There’s a sign-up whiteboard up at the gym now.
What else can you expect? Well, one of my favorite parts of the year is giving back to the Community and recognizing some of the stand out achievements of the year.
How do I do it? I call on our coaching staff to vote for the members who they feel stood out over the course of the year in a number of categories. The numbers are tabulated, and then on that special night we give out pretty sweet trophy awards for the following:
- Fittest Male
- Fittest Female
- Fittest Couple
- Breakout Male
- Breakout Female
- Biggest Comeback
- Most Improved Male
- Most Improved Female
- Jeff Hopkins Community Leader Award
- Coach of the Year
- CrossFitter of the Year
Who will win? Could it be you?? You’ll have to find out at the party! Make sure to let us know you’ll be there and RSVP HERE:
December Holiday Schedule:
- Saturday, December 15: NO Open Gym (set-up for Holiday Party)
- Christmas EVE: Annual 12 Days of Christmas WOD @10am
- Christmas Day: CLOSED
December Specialty Class:
Our strongWOD cycle was an impressive success and you all LOVED it! So much so that we extended it, and then extended it again….and again. Haha.
So what’s the plan for our 10:30am – 12:00pm “Specialty Class” slot next? Well, for the five Saturdays in the month of December we will be having special partner WODs!
You guys asked for it, and we know that the holidays can be a tough time to be consistent with a specialty cycle. This is the perfect solution. Take note and get excited though, in January our incredibly popular Olympic Weightlifting Specialty Cycle will return!
