Today I have TWO special Halloween treats for you!
The first one is to make it official and welcome Robin Reader to the CFHV Coaching Staff. She started out her as her first CrossFit gym way back in the early days of 2013, and I had the pleasure of being her first coach. She’s grown a lot since then as both an athlete and a coach.
Robin is definitely a great example of someone to look for when it comes to Olympic Weightlifting, but her gymnastics are pretty solid too, as you’re likely to see her knocking out sets of ring muscle-ups. She has coached at numerous CrossFit gyms the last 4 years, and still has an impressive personal training roster.
One of the coolest things is that she’s fresh back from Atlanta where she coached at CrossFit Terminus under CF Games athlete Emily Bridgers. Pretty sweet! Make sure you give her a full welcome and a “yeah buddy”.
Holiday Nutrition Seminar
The toughest time of year to stay on track with your eating is during the holidays- no doubt it! That stretch from mid-November to New Years is filled with temptations and sugars.
Honestly it all starts with Halloween, which is just around the corner! That’s why this year, CFHV will be hosting a nutrition seminar to help keep you on track for holiday eating on Wednesday, November 8 @ 7pm…and, it’s totally FREE!
Hosted by our resident nutrition guru Arielle Zieja, you should mark it on your calendar now so you don’t miss out! To give you a head start, she’s put together a special hand-out with some facts & recipes for Halloween.
